The head of the ‘Servant of the People’ faction, David Arakhamia, announced the finalization and voting of the law 8371, which is aimed at the actual ban on the activities of the UOC, reports the Left Bank.

"We have an agreement with all factions on how to proceed and reach a vote in the next session (starting from August 21). It is very likely that the law will be slightly revised, but with consensus. I hope that the State Service for Ethnopolitics and Freedom of Conscience (DESS) will also agree. A preliminary plan: until 15.08 – behind-the-scenes work on the international front. 15-20.08 – finalization in the committee. 21-22.08 – voting in the hall," Arakhamia wrote in the party chat.

As reported by UOJ, the European Solidarity through local councillors is trying to put pressure on MPs to put the bill on banning the Church to a vote.
