The Department for Culture, Nationalities and Religions of the Lviv Regional State Administration refused to dismiss the head of the Office for Religions and Nationalities of the Department of Culture, Nationalities and Religions, the propagandist of the OCU, Dmitry Gorevoy, who systematically takes part in acts of harassment and discrimination against the UOC, the NGO "Miriane" reports on its Telegram channel.

The head of the Department for Culture, Nationalities and Religions of the Regional State Administration Irina Gavriliuk sent a written response to the request of "Miriane" to dismiss Gorevoy due to his inadequacy for the position of a civil servant. In it, she wrote that she "sees no reason" for the dismissal of Gorevoy, and also noted that the Department of the Regional State Administration "is not vested with the authority to request and investigate evidence".

Gavriliuk simply had to draw Gorevoy's attention to the inadmissibility of discrimination against any religion while on duty.

As reported, the court ordered the police to investigate incitement to enmity by an official of the Lviv Regional State Administration Gorevoy.
