Dormition Cathedral of UOC damaged again as a result of Kherson shelling

On the night from 6 to 7 August 2024 during the Russian shelling of the city of Kherson two shells fell on the territory of the Dormition Cathedral of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, reports the Kherson Eparchy.

As a result of the explosion, the altar part of the temple and utility premises were damaged.

As reported by the UOJ, earlier in 2024, the cathedral of the UOC in Kherson came under fire on 12 and 6 March, as well as on 4 February.
