On August 13, another church on the territory of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra, where the monastery’s brethren prayed, was sealed off. Photos of the sealed "Life-Giving Spring" Church appeared online in the evening.

Soon after, the monastery's lawyer, Archpriest Nikita Chekman, published a letter on his Telegram channel from the Director of the National Reserve, Maksym Ostapenko, with a request for the monks to hand over the keys to Building No. 47 to representatives of his organization by 4:00 PM on August 14.

According to Ostapenko, services in the church will now be conducted by chaplains for military personnel. The monks are being offered the possibility of continuing their services in this chapel, but only after prior agreement with the reserve’s administration.

As previously reported by the UOJ, Artem Dmytruk discussed whether the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra will return to the UOC.
