Polish political scientist and expert on Polish-Russian cooperation Lukasz Adamski claims that Pochaiv Lavra was stolen from Poles. He wrote about it on his Facebook page on 14 August.

‘The ambon in Pochaiv Cathedral is living proof from whom this wonderful temple was stolen by the Russian authorities, who subsequently handed it over to the Russian Orthodox Church,’ he wrote.

Adamski added a comment to his post with a screenshot of a news article in which the head of the UGCC addresses the authorities with a request to serve in the monastery, reminding them of the Uniate's rights to the shrine.

As reported by the UOJ, the architect responded to critics seeing "Russianness" in the Pochaiv Lavra cathedral.
