UOC publishes speeches of participants of monasticism congress in Pochaiv

The Ukrainian Orthodox Church presented a video recording of the reports delivered at the Congress of Monastics at the Holy Dormition Pochaiv Lavra.
The video of the speeches of the forum participants was published on the YouTube channel “Lavra. The Path of Salvation”.
The speakers include:
- chairman of the congress, abbot of the Holy Dormition Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra, head of the Synodal Commission of the UOC for monasteries, Metropolitan Pavel of Vyshgorod and Chernobyl: "The Role and Significance of Monasticism in the Salvation of the Human Soul";
- Abbess Serafima (Shevchik) of the Archangel Michael Convent in Odessa: “Monasticism is the Stronghold of Canonical Orthodoxy”;
- Rector of the Kyiv Theological Academy and Seminary, Bishop Sylvester of Belogorodsk: "The Situation in World Orthodoxy due to the Actions of Patriarch Bartholomew in Ukraine and the Possible Contribution of the Monastics of the UOC for its Resolution";
- Deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Andrey Derkach: "Threats to Orthodoxy";
- abbot of the Pochaiv Lavra, Metropolitan Vladimir of Pochaiv: "Monasticism in the Modern World" (no video – Ed.);

- Metropolitan Arseny of Svyatogorsk, abbot of the Holy Dormition Svyatogorsk Lavra: “Spiritual guidance in the Monastery. Hegumen and confessor. Features, experience, problems and their solutions”;
- vicar of the Boryspil Eparchy, Bishop Ambrose of Zgurivka: "Information and Educational Activities of Monasteries";
- Abbess Michaela (Furmanets) of the St. Anastasia Stauropegic Convent in Zhytomyr: “Confessors and Spiritual Guidance in Convents. Confessor and Abbess – Cooperation or Opposition?"
Earlier, the UOJ published appeals of monastics of the UOC to Patriarch Bartholomew and Orthodox Christians adopted at the Congress in Pochaiv.
