Flashmob against Phanar head’s visit relayed by deaneries of Odessa Eparchy

In the Odessa diocese of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, believers from many deaneries joined the flashmob that began in Zaporizhia against the arrival of Patriarch Bartholomew of Constantinople to Ukraine, according to a video posted on the diocese's Youtube channel.

“After our recent video in support of the flash mob launched by the Zaporizhia diocese against the arrival of Patriarch Bartholomew of Constantinople, a lot of deaneries of the Odessa diocese of the UOC joined us and filmed how the entire fullness of Orthodox Christians in Odessa unanimously repeats, ‘Bartholomew, We are not waiting for you!’” says the diocese.

A video urging the head of Phanar not to come to Ukraine was recorded by the believers of the UOC in the cities of Odessa region: Chornomorsk, Belgorod-Dnistrovsky, Tatarbunar, Reni, Biliayivka, Sarata, Bolgrad, Tarutin, Artsyz and Yuzhne.

As the UOJ reported, the Vinnytsia diocese of the UOC supported a flashmob against the arrival of the head of Phanar. Also, believers of the UOC are urged to testify to their faith before the head of Phanar and to come on August 21, 2021 at 9:00 to the building of the Verkhovna Rada in Kyiv.
