Epifaniy and GUR chief Budanov discuss the religious situation in Ukraine

On September 5, a meeting took place between the head of the OCU, Epifaniy Dumenko, and the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine (GUR – Trans.), Kyrylo Budanov, according to the OCU's press service.
The parties discussed the challenges and threats related to the war between Russia and Ukraine, the resistance of the Ukrainian people, the strengthening of national unity, as well as cooperation between the army and the church.
Budanov also thanked Dumenko for his care for the morale of Ukrainian soldiers and talked about the OCU's involvement in the rehabilitation of wounded servicemen.
As previously reported by UOJ, Dumenko and Budanov had earlier discussed the development of the chaplaincy institute.
