Priests and believers of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, who are protesting against the visit of Patriarch Bartholomew of Constantinople to Ukraine, held the prayer standing in Lipska Street in Kyiv, reports the UOC Information Centre on its Facebook page.

Believers read the akathist to the Most Holy Theotokos, waiting for the arrival of the cortege with the head of the Phanar to one of Kyiv hotels. Also, the rally of UOC believers against the visit of the Patriarch of Constantinople to Ukraine took place today at the entrance to Kyiv from the side of Boryspil airport, where a plane from Istanbul with Patriarch Bartholomew on board landed.

As reported, Prime Minister Denis Shmyhal met the Phanar head at Boryspil airport.
