OCU representatives carried out an illegal re-registration of the Dormition Cathedral and the Trinity Church of the UOC in Kremenchuk. According to the Dozor_kozak1 Telegram channel, the representatives of the OCU are preparing to seize these temples in the near future.

"Believers of the UOC note that on 1 September, religious community meetings were held in both shrines, where it was decided to remain in the bosom of the UOC. Despite the will of Orthodox Christians, the shrines were illegally re-registered. The raider takeover process has actually been launched," the message says.

According to the channel's sources, the process is being overseen by Feodosy Ovcharuk, a former UOC priest and now a cleric of the OCU.

"Orthodox Christians ask for prayers and maximum publicity about this injustice!" writes Dozor.

As reported by the UOJ, the OCU "bishop" of Chernivtsi and Bukovyna, Feognost, said that it was important that transitions from the UOC to his structure are made by law. According to him, ‘only a community can make the transition.”
