On September 21, the Feast of the Nativity of the Most Holy Theotokos, with the blessing of His Beatitude Metropolitan Onuphry, Archbishop Sylvester of Bilohorodka, the rector of the Kyiv Theological Academy and Seminary, celebrated the liturgy at the Ukrainian Orthodox Church parish in Leipzig, Germany. This was reported by the press service of KDAiS.

During the service at the Ukrainian parish dedicated to the Life-Giving Trinity in Leipzig, the archbishop was concelebrated by Archpriest Maksym Boichura, dean of the Southern Deanery of UOC parishes in Germany and the parish rector, as well as other UOC parish priests in Germany who provide spiritual care to Orthodox Ukrainians.

Prayers were offered during the liturgy for peace in Ukraine, for deliverance from the enemy, and for those displaced from their homes and those providing them support abroad.

At the conclusion of the service, Archbishop Sylvester conveyed the blessing of His Beatitude Metropolitan Onuphry to the rector and parishioners of the church, and invoked God's blessing for all.

Earlier, on September 19, during his visit to Germany, Archbishop Sylvester participated in an international academic conference in Berlin on the topic "Orthodox Resources for Social Peace".

As previously reported by the UOJ, the KDAiS rector discussed cooperation with the leadership of "Renovabis" during his visit to Germany.
