On September 29, a charity fair was held in Odesa, dedicated to the 200th anniversary of the Dormition Monastery of the UOC and the feast day of St. Kuksha of Odesa. According to the press service of the Odesa Eparchy, more than 29 churches took part in organizing and holding the fair.
The funds raised will be directed towards assisting and evacuating residents from frontline areas.
“Throughout the day, our clergy and parishioners prayed, held workshops for children, and offered refreshments to everyone, which yielded fruitful results. Thanks to your donations, we managed to raise 380,000 hryvnias,” the statement said.
As the UOJ previously reported, the Primate of the UOC officiated the celebrations for the 200th anniversary of the Dormition Monastery in Odesa.
