OCCzLS Primate congratulates Metropolitan Onuphry on his 80th jubilee

The Primate of the Orthodox Church of the Czech Lands and Slovakia, His Beatitude Metropolitan Rastislav, sent his congratulations to His Beatitude Metropolitan Onuphry of Kyiv and All Ukraine on the occasion of his 80th birthday. This was reported by the UOC’s Information and Education Department.

In his congratulatory message, Metropolitan Rastislav highlighted Metropolitan Onuphry’s selflessness, underscoring his example of humility and wisdom: "In these challenging times, which we are experiencing, your selflessness serves as a great example of humility, wisdom, and tireless dedication for us. You are a model of a good shepherd and a caring father to us all, whose unwavering faith in God helps overcome all hardships, patiently serving your people at the Holy Altar and guiding the faithful to stand firmly in Christ's Truth."

Metropolitan Rastislav wished Metropolitan Onuphry good health, strength in his ministry, and God’s help in all his endeavors. "May the Blessed Virgin Mary, together with the host of Venerable Fathers of the Kyiv Pechersk Lavra and all the saints, always extend their prayerful protection over you!" emphasized the Primate of the Church of the Czech Lands and Slovakia.

As reported by UOJ, the Primate of the Macedonian Church also congratulated His Beatitude on his anniversary.
