The LGBT festival "Queer Propaganda Fest" will be held in Kyiv on November 23-24, 2024, as announced by Kyiv Pride on their Facebook page.
Organizers noted that the festival would include lectures and other events, with more details to be revealed later.
The festival initiators promised to publish the schedule next week and opened pre-registration for those wishing to participate.
Some online users have criticized holding the festival on the Day of Remembrance for Holodomor victims.
As reported by the UOJ, in June 2024, participants of the "Equality March" for LGBT rights gathered in Kyiv. It was the first march since the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine. Far-right groups assembled on Khreshchatyk to oppose the LGBT march, but the police blocked them to prevent clashes.
