KDA representative participates in International Forum on Tolerance

On November 14, 2024, the Interfaith Forum on Tolerance was held. The event took place in the Red Building of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, reports the press service of the UOC.

Online sources describe the event as a forum for tolerance and understanding, serving as a platform for interethnic and interfaith dialogue.

The forum was organized by the Department of Culture of the Kyiv City Council (KCC).

Representatives of various religious organizations and national-cultural communities of Kyiv participated in the event, including scholars and religious studies experts from Kyiv’s higher educational institutions.

During the forum, participants discussed pressing issues as well as topics related to interethnic and interfaith relations and cooperation.

At the interfaith forum in Kyiv, the Academic Secretary of the Kyiv Theological Academy, Associate Professor Archimandrite Mitrofan (Bozhko), delivered a speech. He outlined the main directions of "volunteer and humanitarian service of the clergy and faithful of the UOC on the frontlines, in the rear, and among emigrants," and also answered questions from the participants.

Previously, it was reported that a conference in Athens addressed issues of sectarianism and pseudo-religions.
