UCCRO discusses how to transform Ukraine into a "rule-of-law" state

Representatives of the All-Ukrainian Council of Churches and Religious Organizations (UCCRO) met with Ukraine’s Minister of Justice, Olha Stefanishyna. According to the vrciro website, the meeting took place at the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine with the Vice Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration of Ukraine on November 20.

The participants of the meeting discussed "a number of pressing issues related to freedom of religion and state-religion relations in Ukraine in the context of European integration".

It was noted that, seeing itself as an institution of civil society, "representatives of the denominations emphasized the need to continue the process of transforming Ukraine to establish it as a rule-of-law state".

According to them, religious leaders presented the Vice Prime Minister with information about the UCCRO’s measures to support the European integration processes.

As reported by the UOJ, earlier the UCCRO supported President Zelensky's legislative initiative against the UOC.
