Former MP Ihor Mosiychuk stated on his Telegram channel that the Refectory Church of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra is being "gradually turned into a kind of club reminiscent of the cultural enlightenment era, where concerts and party-organizational events are held."
"Zelensky and Co. are methodically and systematically, under the pretext of combating the Kremlin and the Moscow Patriarchate, pursuing a policy of destroying Orthodoxy as the traditional national religion embraced by the majority of Ukrainians!" Mosiychuk wrote. "There is a systematic cleansing of the Orthodox faith and Ukrainian national traditions as the foundation of our Ukrainian people's existence, with the aim of transforming its remnants into a biomass easily controlled by globalists and Satanists!"
According to the politician, the authorities are "burning out the soul" of Ukrainians, while "the 'modernists' of the OCU either silently observe or even approve."
Earlier, the UOJ reported that Zelensky organized a "military breakfast" in the Refectory Church of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra.
