On October 23, 2021, the head of the UOC-KP Filaret Denisenko held a "Council" of his restored structure, at which it was decided to accept "Metropolitan" Auxentios Marines of Aegina and Poros together with the Aegina diocese into the UOC-KP, according to the website of the Kyiv Patriarchate.
As part of the UOC-KP, the Greek "Metropolitan" will bear the title of Chersonesos and Aegina.
On October 10, 2021, “Metropolitan” Auxentios concelebrated with “Patriarch” Filaret in Kyiv.
Earlier, "Metropolitan" Auxentios was a bishop of non-canonical jurisdiction – the Church of True Orthodox Christians of Greece. The diocese of "Metropolitan" Auxentios Marines of Aegina and Poros does not belong to the Orthodox Church of Greece, but is a separate structure of the Old Calendarists. It has 70 clergymen, 50 monks who work in 10 monasteries.
As the UOJ previously reported, the UOC-KP called on the media to report truthful information regarding the titles and statuses of Filaret and Epiphany.
