Metropolitan Neophytos of Morphou of the Cyprus Orthodox Church, stated in an interview with Romanian priest Cyprian Mega that modern Europe is falling apart.

The interview was published on the Ομιλίες Μητροπολίτου Μόρφου channel on 9 December, though the description notes that it was conducted on 8 August 2024.

Metropolitan Neophytos remarked, "The whole world understands that Europe is collapsing, and our Romanian brothers must realise this and not place high hopes on Europe and the Western world in general."

"This is a world that has entered into dialogue with Lucifer, with Satanism, which has been proven through the vaccine. How easily people agreed to receive a vaccine – a vaccine that was not scientifically tested, and now its side effects have led to illnesses and sudden deaths," said the hierarch.

He emphasized: "Eurovision, this music competition, is a satanic cult," and that through the Olympic Games, "someone, well-versed in theology" suggested "mocking the Divine Liturgy, the Last Supper – what is our food, the life of the Orthodox."

"We are waiting for a war, which, it seems, will not start from Ukraine as we thought, but from the Middle East. This is God’s plan, because people have failed to know the truth of God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, the Triune God, through peace. Listen to this word: to know the truth," concluded the hierarch.

As earlier reported by the UOJ, Metropolitan Neophytos urged the believes not to fear as Christ has a plan.
