Rep of Antiochian Church arrives in Kyiv to participate in UOC forum

The representative of the Orthodox Church of Antioch, the abbot of the Patriarchal Holy Dormition Monastery in Balamanda (Lebanon), Archimandrite Romanos (Hannat), arrived in Ukraine to participate in the International Scientific and Practical Conference on the topic “Catholicity of the Church: Theological, Canonical and Historical Dimensions".
The theological forum on issues of primacy among Local Churches, which KDAiS organizes on behalf of the Holy Synod of the UOC, will be held at the Kyiv Theological Academy on Thursday, November 11, 2021.
On November 9, a guest from the Church of Antioch who arrived in Kyiv took part in the divine services of the UOC, which took place at the Holy Dormition Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra on the occasion of the Commencement Day of the Kyiv Theological Schools, reports the Information and Educational Department of the UOC.
As reported, the Church of Antioch called for dialogue for the sake of the unity of Orthodoxy.
