Conference on Primacy and Catholicity of the Church starts in Kyiv

On November 11, 2021, the International Conference "Catholicity of the Church: Theological, Canonical and Historical Dimensions", organized by the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, began in the Holy Dormition Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra.

The forum is broadcast live by the Kyiv Theological Academy on its Facebook page.

The conference is attended by theologians and scholars of the UOC, as well as the Antioch, Russian, Serbian, Bulgarian, Polish Churches, the Orthodox Church of the Czech Lands and Slovakia and the Orthodox Church in America.

The International Forum was organized by the Kyiv Theological Academy in pursuance of the decision of the Holy Synod of the UOC of May 12, 2021.

The UOJ wrote that representatives of seven Local Churches would take part in the conference on catholicity.
