The Pope congratulates Eastern Rite Churches on Christmas

On January 7, when the Roman Catholic Church celebrates the Feast of the Epiphany, the Pope extended his Christmas greetings to the Eastern Churches. This was reported by Vatican News.

“I am pleased to extend my warmest wishes to the Eastern Church communities celebrating the Holy Nativity,” said the Bishop of Rome, assuring his prayers for those suffering due to armed conflicts.

Additionally, the Pope appealed to all believers to continue praying for peace in Ukraine, Palestine, Israel, Myanmar, and other war-torn countries.

As previously reported by the UOJ, on January 7, the Ukrainian Orthodox Church celebrates the Great Feast of the Nativity of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
