On 18 January 2025, a video published online showing the scale of the destruction inside the Cathedral of St. Andrew the First-Called of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church in Zaporizhzhia.

The footage, published on Facebook by Archpriest Hennadiy Yelin, shows the severe damage to the cathedral: the roof is damaged, the church’s frescoes, sacred items, and other interior elements have been destroyed.

The video provides an opportunity to evaluate the destruction suffered by the principal Orthodox church of the UOC in Zaporizhzhia.

As earlier reported by the UOJ, a Russian missile strike destroyed St Andrew's Cathedral of the UOC in Zaporizhzhia.
