After the service at the National Cathedral in Washington, attended by the President, Vice President, and their families, Donald Trump shared his impressions with journalists, reports CNN.

When asked by a reporter what he thought of the service, Trump responded that "it wasn't too exciting."

“I didn’t think it was a good service, no. They can do much better,” Trump added.

To recall, on January 21, Washington Bishop Mariann Edgar Budde, representing the Episcopal Anglican Church, used her sermon to call on Trump to have mercy upon children identifying as homosexual and transgender.

“I ask you to have mercy upon the people in our country who are scared. There are gay, lesbian, transgender children, Democratic, Republican, independent families – some who fear for their lives,” she said.
