OCA to Livestream Mka. Olga's Glorification
SITKA — The Orthodox Church in America will livestream all of the liturgical celebrations related to the glorification of Mother Olga of Alaska.
Metropolitan Tikhon, primate of the OCA, will preside. He will be joined by Archbishop Alexei Trader of Sitka and All Alaska.
The first event, which includes the Rite of Glorification, will be held at St. Nicholas Church in Kwethluk.
Kwethluk is Mka. Olga’s native village. Her husband served as the priest as St. Nicholas Church for over 16 years.
The livestream will begin on Thursday at 4:00 PM AKDT (8:00 PM ET).
