OCU and Uniates Conduct Joint Consecration for Military Church Construction

NOVI PETRIVTSI — At the Omega Special Forces Center, "hierarchs" of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine (OCU) and clergy of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church (UGCC) held a joint consecration service of the site for the construction of a church dedicated to the Ascension of the Lord, according to the UGCC Department of Military Chaplaincy.

Representing the OCU at the event were "Metropolitans" Oleksandr Drabynko and Ivan Yaremenko. Also present were Greek-Catholic military chaplains and Major General Pavlo Yatsyuk, head of the Omega Special Forces Center.
