Trump's Spiritual Advisor to Netanyahu: 'I'm Honored to Be Sitting Up Here With God's Chosen'

JERUSALEM — On Sunday, an event titled "Together as One" took place in Jerusalem. Sponsored by Daystar, an American evangelical television network, the event saw senior advisor to the White House Faith Office Paula White affirm the "Judeo-Christian bond" with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his wife, Sara.
"I'm just so honored to be sitting up here with, I believe, God's chosen for everyone," White said.
Prime Minister Netanyahu said that Israel is a nation that "lives the Bible," and that the U.S. and Israel have an alliance "bonded in faith, in history, in tradition."
Netanyahu also said that there is an attempt to erode the bond between Jews and Christians through a "campaign of lies," adding that radical Islamist groups like Hamas and Iran attempt to sever these bonds.
"You can be a Jewish person without being a Christian," White later commented. "However, you cannot be a Christian without understanding the foundation from which you came. That's Judaism."
White called the Netanyahu couple "lions of Israel" and shared her belief that the two will go down in history as "the greatest leaders Israel has ever had."
It should be noted that White holds the belief that the nation-state of Israel created in 1948 is the same Israel that God made His covenant with in the Old Testament, which raises the question of how she thinks Netanyahu is a better leader than biblical figures such as Kings David and Solomon.
"This is the only land that God ever made a covenant with a people," she said. "It's a little piece of land, but it matters. From cover to cover, Genesis to Revelation, you never want to be on the wrong side of God or the wrong side of history."
