BROOKLINE, MA — The Hellenic College Holy Cross campus will host a retreat titled “Be Attentive: Discerning Your Priestly Vocation” from October 2–5, 2025. The event invites men from all Orthodox Christian jurisdictions who are considering ordained ministry to prayerfully listen for God’s call in their lives.
Participants will take part in guided discussions with clergy and one another, exploring the Church’s teaching on Holy Orders, the nature of priestly service, and the impact of faithful ministry within the parish and beyond.
Room and board will be provided. Applications require a résumé, a letter of recommendation from one’s parish priest, and a 500-word essay on why the applicant wishes to attend. Space is limited, and interested participants are encouraged to inquire early to receive the application link.
