DESS Announces Date of First Court Hearing Against Kyiv Metropolis of UOC

KYIV — A court hearing in the case on the termination of the religious organization "Kyiv Metropolis of the UOC" will be held in the Sixth Administrative Court of Appeal in Kyiv on September 30, 2025.
The DESS site reports that by the decision of the Sixth Administrative Court of Appeal dated September 3, 2025, proceedings have been opened in case No. 855/11/25 based on the administrative lawsuit of the Service against the religious organization "Kyiv Metropolis of the UOC."
Previously, UOJ reported that in a recently released interview on "The Rosenberg Report," Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that Russia is waging a war on Christianity while dismissing claims that Ukraine is persecuting Christians as "false and manipulative."
