Head of ROCOR’s Bethany School for Girls to Tour U.S. Parishes This Fall

BETHANY — Nun Maria (Valle), head of the Russian Orthodox Church Abroad's (ROCOR) historic School for Girls in Bethany, will visit parishes across the Mid-American and Eastern American Dioceses this November to share about the life and mission of the school and the current challenges facing Orthodox Christians in the Holy Land.

Founded in 1937, the Bethany School for Girls has served generations of young women, providing education and spiritual formation. During her U.S. tour, Mother Maria will offer talks from Nov. 6- Dec. 1 at parishes across the Midwest, South, and East Coast, concluding with a visit to the Holy Epiphany Church in Roslindale, Mass., before returning to Tel Aviv.

Faithful and supporters are encouraged to attend and learn more about the school’s mission and the vital role it continues to play in sustaining Orthodox Christian life in the Holy Land. The full schedule, as published on the Eastern American Diocese website, is listed below.
