NOV. 17, 2025 — Fr. Seraphim Slobodskoy's seminal work "The Law of God" has been translated into Spanish as part of a limited-edition release.

Available from the Old Florida Book Shop, 125 copies sport grey cloth covered boards, silver detailing on the front cover and spine, and two silk ribbons. The new translation means there are no previous owners' names or other defacements.

The essential catechetical text which has been used in various capacities by the Russian Church Outside of Russia (ROCOR) — as well as other jurisdictions — for nearly six decades now has a Spanish version available at a time when Orthodox parishes around the country are seeing an increase in Hispanic attendance. Originally published in Russian, there have also been English, Ukrainian, and German translations made.

Previously, UOJ reported that the final volume of St. Ignatius Brianchaninov's collected works was published in English.
