NOV. 18, 2025 — Holy Trinity Publications has announced the upcoming release of "Now Is the Accepted Time: Lenten Sermons of St. Theophan the Recluse," a new English-language collection of sermons delivered throughout Great Lent during the saint’s ministry. The volume is slated for publication ahead of Great Lent 2026, with pre-orders now available at a 15% discount.

Publishers say the work fills a longstanding gap in English-language Orthodox literature, where only a fraction of St. Theophan’s extensive Russian writings — spanning multiple volumes — have been translated. Following the completion of the full works of St. Ignatius Brianchaninov, Holy Trinity Publications is turning its attention to making more of St. Theophan’s writings accessible to English readers.

The pre-order price has been reduced to $21.21 until the book’s official release in January. Copies will ship as soon as they reach the warehouse, even prior to the publication date. Orders can be made here.

Previously, UOJ reported that that the final volume of St. Ignatius Brianchaninov's collected works was published in English.
