KYIV — Satanist Bohdan Orishchenko, who refers to himself as “Mag Veliyar,” released a video claiming President Volodymyr Zelenskyy granted him the opportunity to perform a satanic ritual near the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra.

As reported by UOJ-Ukraine, Orishchenko said that only under the current authorities was he able to walk freely near the holy site carrying a coffin and pentagrams. He asserted that “Zelenskyy dealt with the Moscow Patriarchate and with Vadym Novynskyi,” whom he described as his personal enemies.

He further claimed that Zelensky personally enabled him “to conduct the funeral service of the Moscow Patriarchate under the walls of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra” and to move about the area with ritual objects.

“I really did have the opportunity under President Zelenskyy to deal with the Moscow Patriarchate. The only one who could allow me many things was President Zelenskyy alone,” Orishchenko said.

He added that he sought no financial gain: “I don’t need anything. I am grateful to him, to the President, for expelling from the Lavra those people who oppressed me, humiliated me, insulted me — that is the Kyiv Theological Academy and Seminary,” he concluded.

Previously, UOJ-Ukraine reported that Mag Veliyar, who supports the OCU, held a "funeral service for the UOC-MP" near the Lavra.

UOJ-USA also reported that a former Ukrainian MP claimed Zelenskyy personally ordered the arrest of Met. Arseny.
