JORDANVILLE — A faculty member of Holy Trinity Orthodox Seminary will tour the Midwest this month to deliver a series of lectures marking the 100th anniversary of the repose of St. Tikhon of Moscow. Rev. Protodeacon Andrei Psarev, Ph.D., a professor in the seminary’s Department of Theology, Patrology, and Canon Law, and the Department of History, Philosophy, and Humanities, as well as Director of Undergraduate Studies, will lead the program.
The lecture series opens Sunday, December 7, at St. George Russian Orthodox Church in Cincinnati, Ohio, and will continue through Sunday, December 14, with additional stops in the region. Organizers say the talks will explore St. Tikhon’s life, pastoral legacy, and enduring impact on the Orthodox Church.
Local clergy and faithful are encouraged to review the published schedule and attend the events. The anniversary series offers a rare opportunity to hear from one of the seminary’s most respected scholars.
