The largest Orthodox school in the country to open in Kyiv

The first Ukrainian Orthodox school “Trinity” will open in Kyiv on September 1, 2022. Here, children from Orthodox families will receive a fundamental basic education from grades 1 to 9, and in the future, from grades 1 to 12, as reported on the website of the school.

The educational institution was founded by initiative Orthodox Christians with the blessing of His Beatitude Metropolitan Onuphry. The aim of the school is to combine the methods of classical pedagogic scholars, such as K.D. Ushinsky, V.A. Sukhomlinsky, A.S. Makarenko, with the newest psychological and pedagogic technologies, and at the same time create a comfortable family atmosphere in the school. The educational complex consists of the school, which is located in the Solomenskiy district of Kyiv in a separate building with an area of 5 000 square meters, the Orthodox kindergarten and the own holiday camp near Kyiv.

The new school has already announced recruitment for primary school teachers. Teachers, who are invited to work in a friendly team, are required to possess high moral qualities, in addition, they must share Orthodox values.

"Trinity School incorporates the best traditions of classical secular and Orthodox education, the development of the child's personality and professional competences," say the founders of the institution.
