St. Vladimir's Cathedral in Kyiv, which is currently the main temple of the UOC-KP, received assistance from the American diaspora, reports the Cathedral's Facebook page.

“The rector, brethren and parishioners of the Vladimir Patriarchal Cathedral thank Bishop Luke of Philadelphia, the vicar of the Kyiv diocese and the Ukrainian diaspora in the United States and Canada for their help and donations to the temple,” the message says.

It is reported that in December 2021, with the assistance of the “Bishop of Philadelphia” Luke, the old carpeting was replaced in the central altar of St Vladimir’s Cathedral, and in January 2022, white festive vestments were sewn with funds provided by the Ukrainian diaspora in the United States and Canada.

Earlier it was reported that Filaret filed a lawsuit to renew the registration of the UOC-KP.

The UOJ wrote that the Kyiv Patriarchate detailed Filaret's trips to the United States.
