NANUET, NY — The Synodal School of Liturgical Music has officially opened general registration for its 2026 summer session at Holy Dormition Convent “Novo-Diveevo.” The program will run from July 13 through July 25, offering participants an immersive experience in sacred music and liturgical traditions.
The school welcomes singers, musicians, and anyone interested in deepening their knowledge of Orthodox liturgical music. Sessions will include practical instruction, ensemble rehearsals, and opportunities to participate in live liturgical services within the convent. Organizers emphasize that the program is designed for both beginners and experienced musicians alike, fostering a supportive learning environment.
General questions regarding registration, schedule, or program details can be directed to Program Office Valentina Shatalova at vshatalova@earthlink.net. Participants are encouraged to register early, as spaces are limited and popular among regional and national attendees.
Previously, the UOJ reported that St. Vladimir's Seminary opened registration for 2026 Summer Music Institute.
