COLUMBUS, OH — A college student who began a chemical abortion says she is now grateful to be a mother after contacting the Abortion Pill Rescue Network to pursue the Abortion Pill Reversal (APR) protocol. Her story was recently highlighted by Pregnancy Help News, a publication of Heartbeat International.

Identified as Sarah, the young woman said she felt distressed after discovering she was pregnant while preparing to transfer to a four-year university. Although she had grown up opposed to abortion, she obtained mifepristone at an abortion facility. After taking the first drug, she encountered a sidewalk counselor who informed her that reversal may be possible if begun quickly. With her father’s encouragement, she sought medical guidance through APRN.

According to Heartbeat International, APR involves administering progesterone within 24–72 hours of taking mifepristone, before the second drug is used. Sarah later delivered a healthy baby girl and said she has adjusted her academic plans while focusing on motherhood and her faith.

Previously, the UOJ reported that Orthodox Christians for Life joined national pro-life marches in January.
