Primate of Polish Church invites Patriarch Bartholomew to Poland
Metropolitan Sawa, the Primate of the Polish Church, invited Patriarch Bartholomew to the country. Also, the head of Phanar received an invitation from the President of the country, Andrzej Duda. The information was published on the website of the Patriarchate of Constantinople. The message says that the head of Phanar will come to Poland “to bless, console and strengthen the countless refugees taking shelter in the country following the outbreak of war in Ukraine.”
Patriarch Bartholomew will be accompanied on the trip by Metropolitan Emmanuel of Chalcedon.
As the UOJ wrote, the President of Ukraine thanked Patriarch Bartholomew for his support.
