Head of Rivne Regional Council is set to liquidate UOC in his region

In his comments on the Facebook page of the "bishop" of the OCU, Eustratiy Zoria, the head of the Rivne Regional Council, Sergei Kondrachuk, said he would liquidate the UOC in the Rivne region.

Kondrachuk gave a link to the draft decision to ban the UOC, published on the website of the Rivne Regional Council on May 4, 2022.

“We are liquidating the Moscow Patriarchate in Ukraine by the decision of the session, at least in the Rivne region,” wrote Kondrachuk.

“MPinU according to the documents does not exist! How can you eliminate something that does not exist? ”, user Sergei Kunitsky answered him.

“I know, don't worry. We are liquidating what exists according to the documents,” Kondrachuk added.

In the draft decision, the deputies of the Rivne Regional Council ask to ban the UOC in Ukraine and on the territory of the Rivne region.

As previously reported by the UOJ, the Rivne Regional Council was headed by an official who contributed to the seizure of nine churches of the UOC.
