His Beatitude commemorates the head of ROC among other Primates in Liturgy

His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia was commemorated among the Primates of the other Local Churches in the Divine Liturgy broadcast from the Kyiv Caves this morning, after the Council of the UOC, which was held on May 27 in Feofaniya. Metropolitan Onuphry of Kyiv and All Ukraine led the Divine Liturgy at the Church of St. Agapit of Caves of the Kyiv Caves Lavra. The online broadcast of the service is posted on the Lavra's YouTube channel.

"Most Holy Orthodox Patriarchs: John of Antioch, Theophilos of Jerusalem, Kirill of Moscow and All Russia, Ilia of Georgia, Porfirije of Serbia, Daniel of Romania, Neophyte of Bulgaria, Beatitude Archbishops and Bishops: Anastasius of Albania, Savva of Poland, Rastislav of the Czech Lands and Slovakia, Tikhon of America and Canada... may the Lord God remember in His Kingdom always, now and ever and unto ages of ages," Metropolitan Onuphry chanted during the Great Entrance.

At the Great Litany, the deacon chants: “Again we pray for our great lord and father, His Holiness Patriarch Kirill,” followed by the commemoration of His Beatitude Metropolitan Onuphry of Kyiv and All Ukraine.

As reported, on 27 May 2022, the Council of the UOC was held at which the full independence of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church was declared.
