Primate of UOC meets with U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine

On July 19, 2022, the Primate of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, His Beatitude Metropolitan Onuphry of Kyiv and All Ukraine, met with U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine Bridgette Brink, at her request, reports the Information and Educational Department of the UOC.

The meeting was also attended by the Deputy Chairman of the UOC Department for External Church Relations, Archpriest Mykola Danilevych, and staff from the U.S. Embassy.

His Beatitude Metropolitan Onuphry congratulated the ambassador on the beginning of her diplomatic mission in Ukraine.

During the meeting, they discussed the life and activities of the Church in Ukraine in war conditions.

As earlier reported, His Beatitude Metropolitan Onuphry held a liturgy and requiem service for the dead in Borodianka.
