Zelenskyy has a phone talk with Pope
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Pope Francis had a telephone conversation on August 12, 2022, reports Zelenskyy on his Twitter.
"Informed about the aggression that the Russian Federation is committing against Ukraine, about the terrible crimes of Russia. We are grateful to the pontiff for his prayers for Ukraine. Our nation needs the support of world spiritual leaders who must communicate to the world the truth about the horrors that the aggressor is doing in Ukraine," Zelenskyy wrote.
As earlier reported, Zelenskyy said that he was spiritually united with the Pope on peace in the Donbas.
