UOC parish in Brussels first celebrates Feast of All-Merciful Saviour

On August 14, 2022, in Brussels, the newly created parish of the UOC of All the Saints of the Kyiv Caves gathered for a joint prayer on the feast of The Procession (Carrying-forth) of the Venerable Wood of the Life-Creating Cross of the Lord and the day of memory of the seven Maccabee martyrs.

As Archpriest Dimitry Popescu, who ministers to the UOC community in the Belgian capital, told the UOJ, the service was held in the Church of the Mother of God of the Romanian Orthodox Church, where the newly created community usually gathers on Sundays.

At the end of the festive Divine Liturgy, water and honey were consecrated. From this day on, believers are blessed with the tasting of its new harvest.

Also, Father Dimitry said that on August 19, 2022, the UOC community in Brussels will gather for a solemn service to celebrate the Transfiguration of the Lord at 9:00 at the same address: Avenue Norbert Gilles 67, 1070, Anderlecht.

As reported, 12 sacraments of Baptism have already been performed in the UOC community in Brussels.
