Kadyrov: Thousands of Muslims defend religious values in the war in Ukraine
The head of the Chechen Republic, Ramzan Kadyrov, said that Muslims in Ukraine are fighting against Satanism. He wrote about this in his Telegram channel.
According to Kadyrov, "Islam obliges Muslims to protect the interests of the state, including at the borders, if the state does not infringe on religion."
“Look what is happening in Europe. <... > The reasons why thousands of Muslims today are on the fronts of confrontation with Europe on Ukrainian soil is the fight against Satanism and the protection of religious values,” writes the head of Chechnya.
Earlier, the UOJ reported that Russia called the war in Ukraine jihad and defense of Islam.
