St Nicholas’ church of UOC destroyed due to hostilities in Novopavlivka
On September 1, 2022, as a result of the shelling of the village of Novopavlivka, Berуslav region, the St. Nicholas the Wonderworker church was almost completely destroyed.
“The enemy fired unguided rockets at the village of Novopavlivka, damaging houses and almost completely destroying the local church. Investigators removed the remains of the deadly shells at the site,” reports the press service of the Kherson Region Police.
The temple was built in the 19th century.
As earlier reported, the Assumption church of the UOC was completely destroyed in Beryslav due to shelling.
