Video of raider seizure of UOC church in Khoriv published on the Web
On September 20, 2022, a video of the events that took place in the village of Khoriv, Rivne diocese, was published on the Web, when aggressive supporters of Epifaniy Dumenko tried to take over the Peter and Paul church. The video is posted on the Youtube channel of the Rivne diocese of the UOC.
On September 18, at about 2:00 pm, representatives of the "church community" of the OCU came to the territory of the Peter and Paul church – strong men with grinders, with which they began to saw the bars on the windows. They behaved aggressively, pushed the women and the priest, cursed.
Parishioners of the temple called the police, who prevented the seizure.
Recall that the first attempts to capture the Peter and Paul church in Khoriv were made by the OCU members back in July 2022. The UOC community defends its rights in court, but Dumenko's followers regularly try to take away the shrine from the parishioners.
The video features the excessive use of profanity by the OCU adherents.
As the UOJ wrote, OCU raiders seized the Resurrection church of the UOC in Zazymya.
