The head of Phanar and Pope Francis hold a joint ecumenical prayer
On October 4, 2022, the head of Phanar, Patriarch Bartholomew and Pope Francis held a joint ecumenical prayer in Bahrain, reports the pro-fanariote fosfanariou.gr website.
As part of the inter-confessional meeting held in the Catholic Cathedral of the Holy Virgin of Arabia in Avala, Bahrain, Patriarch Bartholomew prayed together with Pope Francis, as well as other representatives of the Orthodox and Catholic Churches, for peace.
Earlier, the UOJ wrote that according to Patriarch Bartholomew, the Phanar promotes inter-Christian and inter-religious dialogue.
