On December 11, 2023, a bill (No. 10328) was introduced in the Verkhovna Rada regarding the daily prayer "for victory and the liberation of the entire territory of Ukraine from Russian occupation." The author of the bill is MP Georgiy Mazurashu.

In a Facebook post, he suggested incorporating the prayer into the nationwide moment of silence for those who died in the war.

"The moment of silence takes place daily at 9:00. It would be quite logical to declare this time as the nationwide daily prayer for victory and the liberation of the entire territory of Ukraine from Russian occupation," wrote Mazurashu.

Earlier, the UOJ reported that Mazurashu proposed introducing Thanksgiving Day in Ukraine, "as in highly developed countries".
