Patriarchs of Antioch, Jerusalem, and Serbia Hold Meeting in Jordan

AMMAN — Pat. Porfirije of Serbia met with King Abdullah II on Dec. 8, 2025, at the Royal Residence in Amman, discussing matters of mutual concern during his visit to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.

As reported by the Orthodox Times, earlier that day, at the Metropolis of Amman of the Patriarchate of Jerusalem, the Serbian patriarch held separate talks with Pat. John X of Antioch and Pat. Theophilos III of Jerusalem. Both hierarchs were in Jordan to take part in the International Conference titled “Aqaba Process – Balkan Interreligious Dialogue.”

Previously, UOJ reported that Pat. Porfirije said neither wealth nor poverty is an obstacle to salvation.
